Did you know that in ancient Greece, the Delphic and Olympic Games were known as twin sisters and celebrated two dimensions of human excellence - art and sport? Led by the Amphictyonic League at Delphi, the Delphic Games honoured Apollo and nurtured creativity, harmony, and understanding. The Castalian Springs Ceremony proclaims peace, creative awakening and reminds us that art; like water - is essential, eternal, and belongs to all humanity.
